Fransoes (Francis) Doremus

Francis Doremus was a merchant, in New York, and had the misfortune to be burnt out twice, the second time most disastrously, in the great fire of 1835.
He served as adjutant on the staff of Col. J. Ward, in the New York militia in the War of 1812. .
